The Best Pumpkin Beer

Pumpkin Beer…a term that is easily the most divisive in the craft beer community. Beer purists tend to think that any adjunct or fruits added to beers make it less than optimal. Personally I love pumpkin flavored items, probably because it means that Halloween is around the corner and that brings me tons of joy. While I do not enjoy seeing shelves stocked with these fall brews as early as August, I do not understand the hatred generated towards this style. Maybe its too spicy or sweet? Maybe people just hate on pumpkin flavored things because they are overdone? Either way I am here to find the best Pumpkin beer available.

I recently finished reviewing all 15 Oktoberfest beers that I was able to find around me, you can read that article here. While I did enjoy that challenge I am truly looking forward to reviewing all of the following beers. My goal will be to keep this as a sticky post which will be updated every year that way I can track the best Pumpkin Beer. Please be sure to comment on any beers I may have missed, which will be alot at first, and let me know your thoughts on these spicy brews.
